I was experimenting with Firehose for the first time and didn’t realize it streams real‑time global events with no built‑in limit.

Within seconds my browser was pulling in traffic jams, car crashes, flight data, camera feeds, and thousands of events per minute.

My mouse froze, the keyboard stopped responding, and I couldn’t even pause it. I just watched the event counter climb past 30,000 in minute before I finally managed to pause and delete filters. It took me three days to figure out how to properly constrain the stream.

Now I can filter it down and pull only what I need in seconds, but that first run… never again.
Posting this so nobody else opens the full firehose raw like I did.
