I’m a 27-year-old male, around 16% body fat. I weight train multiple times per week, eat a pretty solid diet, don’t drink alcohol, and get about 8 hours of sleep most nights. I also supplement and don’t have any known deficiencies.

I recently got bloodwork done and my results were:
- Total testosterone: 18.8 nmol/L (~542 ng/dL)
- Free testosterone (calculated): 336 pmol/L (~97 pg/mL)

These aren’t technically low, as they fall within normal ranges. But for years now, I’ve struggled with very low drive, poor confidence, fatigue, anxiety, and just generally feeling off.

What’s confusing is that I’ve seen a lot of anecdotal reports online of people with similar levels who say TRT made a huge difference for them. So even though I’m not clinically hypogonadal, I’m wondering:

Is TRT worth trying in a case like this?

I’m honestly just tired of feeling this way long-term and don’t want to rule something out if it could help. I’m not particularly worried about injections or the commitment, more just trying to figure out if it’s a reasonable path given my situation.

Would appreciate any insight, especially from people who were in a similar position.
