I’m looking to book a trip, and I google the average price for some flights. Then when I go looking to actually book them, the prices are way higher than what I would expect. Are they higher than usual? If so, should I just wait to take some trips? Or are these pretty average?

For reference, the current price flight I’m seeing to go to Peru is over $1,000, and the lowest I’m seeing is still over $900. When I google the average price it’s closer to $500. Not sure if it’s because of my home airport(MSP), or if flight prices are inflated.

Any advice is appreciated!
