I over-filed my nails last night. Normally it takes me 2 hours to remove and yesterday I was so happy it only took me 45 mins. And I realized I didn’t even need to soak with acetone bc I filed all gel off. And then immediately saw red spots multiple fingers. :( regret.

I know ultimate best thing to do is no gel for weeks, but I need nail strength for my work. My thinking is to pause on gelx for ~6-8 weeks and use my Japanese softgel, Leafgel, so I don’t need to roughen or do any further damage to nails.

My question, can/should I use Jello Jello under my base coat? I just brought it to try under gelx nails, to improve nail removal, I was so excited to try. Help!

I jammed my right middle finger the other day, so it’s start lifting at the cuticle side of my nail… it got worse when I was pulling down my skirt to use the restroom, I guess it put too much pressure on the nail. What is a temp fix product that I could get locally in the States in the next hour?! (Houston to be specific if it matters) I REALLY don’t want to take off and put a fresh nail on since I’m planning on doing it all on Wednesday.

Thank you in advance!
