Looking for an NVR compatible with Lorex E841/E842/E581 cameras that supports SMB/NAS network storage export
We have 26 Lorex cameras (E841, E842, E581 models) in a commercial environment and need an NVR that can:
- Accept our existing Lorex cameras natively or via ONVIF/RTSP
- Support automated export/recording to an SMB network share or NAS
- Handle 16+ channels
- Support HDDs over 10TB
- Under $750 per unit
We've confirmed our cameras have working RTSP streams. We've already ruled out Lorex's own NVR lineup as SMB is not supported on any confirmed model. Open to other brands if camera compatibility is verified. Not looking for Blue Iris or VMS software solutions — specifically need hardware NVR with native SMB.
Has anyone confirmed a working setup with these camera models on a non-Lorex NVR with SMB?
