Hi guys, I'm looking to upgrade the PSU of my Dell Vostro 3710 SFF PC.

Someone said (1st pic) that I could use the PSU of a Dell Inspiron 3910, 300W in my Dell Vostro 3710. They have really similar stats and stuff.

I'm not an expert in this, so could anyone tell me if they're compatible and safe to use in my 3710?

Included in this post are the screenshots of the Vostro 3710 PSU. And this link https://www.dell.com/support/manuals/en-ie/inspiron-3910-desktop/inspiron-3910-setup-and-specifications/power-ratings?guid=guid-75256e01-d28f-4ceb-8cf9-c6a6870a7aab&lang=en-us shows the Inspiron 3910 PSU

Any help would be more than appreciated, guys. Thank you so much

Hi guys, I'm looking to get a better PSU for my Dell Vostro 3710 SFF. Mine is only 180W, and this one is 240W.

My specs are:

  1. Intel i5 12400

  2. Yeston RTX 3050

  3. 16GB DDR4

  4. 500GB NVME + 2TB SATA SSD

Add-ons:

  1. Thermalright AXP120-X67

  2. Noctua NF-A6X15 60mm PWM fans x2

Was afraid the 180W PSU might blow up or even damage other components if used under stress.

The PSU I found on Amazon costs €80-€90, but on Aliexpress, it's only more than €20. Is it safe and/or reliable?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks guys
