I was diagnosed with POI very suddenly at age 32, and at 38 was diagnosed with hashimotos (by accident, no symptoms). Has anyone discovered the "link" between POI and hashis? No one has said specifically whether the POI is its own autoimmune condition, or perhaps more of a byproduct of hashis. I've been working with a naturopath on the hashis, but antibodies seem to keep ticking up, oddly, the more I try to do for it. I'm on HRT for the POI and am hoping it has some immune-modulating effect but am not sure. Would love to hear anyone else's experience with these two conditions.
