It’s actually unbelievable how many people on this sub have been making posts about private/confidential studies. Half the time they’re describing the study in detail, making it really concerning for researchers.

Surely if something is marked confidential or private, common sense says maybe don’t post about it publicly online for everyone to see? It is self explanatory, so if you have an issue speak to Prolific directly!

I know most people here understand this already, but confidentiality is a huge part of why platforms like Prolific work properly in the first place. Researchers need to be able to trust that participants will follow the instructions they agree to, and participants benefit from that trust through continued access to studies and fair rewards.

I've been a member for 6 years but the past year, I’ve been saving for my wedding and I can finally say that Prolific has genuinely helped make it happen.

The AI and specialised studies have played a huge part, and it’s been great having something on the side that lets me save without putting pressure my regular outgoing costs.

Really grateful to prolific and the researchers that have given me the opportunities i have had so far. 🙌🏻
