So I'm nearing on the end of my 3 months with 50% off for Claude, and even at the price, usage limits we're god-awful, was still paying extra to boost my usage limits up.
I'm just wondering for anyone who has switched or uses both CC and Codex, how much usage am i getting more out of it for Plus? With CC i could use it for about an hour before hitting limits if i really stretched it and would get stuck on a simple issue.
Just used my free codex (5.4) and managed to fix the issue CC couldn't fix for the entire day, pretty quickly, which was nice, but of course hit my weekly limit since its on a free account.
I had a GPT subscription ages ago but for coding was using GHCP but since the nerf and another nerf in June it made no sense to keep that subscription, so was wondering of coming back got GPT and Codex.
Really wondering if it's worth it long term for Codex? What are the usage limits compared to CC for long tasks etc or if there is anything better?
Also to note, i do get Gemini pro free with student, but hate using it and for a majority of things, pretty useless.
