should i start if LO has a runny nose?

my husband hasn’t been feeling well and we co sleep, so naturally my 6 month old has a runny nose. we’re not sure if the both of them are experiencing allergies or sick, i was planning on restarting her sleep training tonight (we stopped for a week to fix her schedule), but she woke up with a runny nose. should i hold off or will this not affect anything? i just don’t want her to be sick sick and then come back into our bed for comfort and then have to sleep train AGAIN

hi all. needing some advice. i started sleep training using a gentler version of the Ferber method. i’ve been talking to ChatGPT throughout the whole process for step by step help. it’s now giving me more of the pick up put down method, but the first 2 nights were going well, now the last 2 nights have been going HORRIBLY. we’re on night 5. last night (night 4) she had 8 wakes. does it get worst before it gets better? or am i getting lead in the wrong direction? anyone else using Ferber have to get them basically asleep in their arms before putting them back in the crib? any and all advice is welcome (except CIO lol)
