I watched this in KLCC Malaysia sometime between 2004-2007 and I distinctly remember a white blonde couple who had issues with something in their relationship or maybe even expecting a kid on their way and arguing in the car or at their rural suburban home.
But what stood out is the car scene. The car flips and one of them gets trapped underneath it and once the car was lifted or they managed to get away, their leg was flattened under the crushing weight. All I remember is that car crash happened on the way home and it happened within the first 20-30 mins of the film.
The man looked like a mix of Dwight from twd and ryan gosling in the notebook with the beard but scruffier and the woman is less memorable but if I have to give you something to work with, she’s a mix of the mom from babadook (but blonde) and Naomi watts in the impossible
