Is it just me or does it seem like some people use friends/alts to save them for last?

I feel like I keep on seeing this, though I don't know if its just some coward hiding or not.

I've had a few games where its 3:30 AM or 4:00 AM and I'm the last two alive and the killer decides to hunt me down to kill so I loop them till 5:40 or 5:50 and then they instantly switch off me and head to the other survivors location, kill them, and come back for LMS. Sometimes the Survivor mysteriously dies as well, but more often its the killer heading over to the Survivor.

Honestly, now that I'm saying this, it feels pretty damn obvious, but I kinda hate pointing fingers and assuming the worst in people... despite the fact I know there are some people who would do such a thing. I really gotta break that habit.

Just need to rant about a match I experienced today

Okay so, let me set the scene.

The Killer was Springtrap (Hoax Skin) on The Forest Map and I was the Customer Survivor (I'm trying to get all survivors to lvl 20 and Customer is the last one I need to work on as I figure they're the easiest to play so I saved them for last)

The round was pretty much normal, Hoax went around killing the survivors while I focused on gens since I can't do much else. Around 3:30 AM it was only me and a Medic left and the Hoax decided he wanted me dead and chased me, I had distance advantage and, as Customer, could heal and outrun them easily.

The kept chasing me till 5:50 AM before they ragequit. Now usually I'd feel sorry for the killer cause I kinda ruined their game but... THIS guy didn't even USE his whole ability arsenal!

During chase, he only ran after me and NEVER used his axe throw despite the fact there were SEVERAL times they could've hit me with the axe throw! Sure I could probably dodge it, I tend to be an annoying rat, but the fact they didn't try astonishes me. Not to mention they only placed ONE trap to stop the god loop of the Triple Door area, though tbh even trapping one door makes that loop godly still cause I just adapt to it.

Of course I didn't stay at that loop forever, I did leave the loop occasionally to regain distance, but this guy was SO insistent on killing me and like- If you want me dead, at least USE your abilities! You'd be surprised how good axe throw, scream and charge are!

I also don't know if he reached Trap limit but I would also recommend he'd place more traps on loop spots. You don't always have to put them at doors, usually somewhere that would inconvenience the Survivor since Springtrap can walk over his traps- Thats something a lot of Springtrap players forget... your not a Dead By Daylight Trapper, you can run over your traps.

I do feel mildly sorry for the guy, but man, just use your abilities or swap off me. Though I also understand that he probably doesn't want to go against me in an LMS and probably wanted an easy kill on Medic... and he probably could've gotten that if he used his abilities.

Before I end this off, here's some general/basic tips I know of.

- You can block Ennards grab attack, you don't have to let him grab you and block his m1 you can actually block the grab attack itself at ANY distance! This keeps your original distance AND stuns Ennard for a bit. All you do is look behind you while running and block at the right time, just make sure to do this during long empty paths/halls so you don't run up against something.

- If your Fighter with a Stun Charge and see Mimic grab somebody, stun Mimic (especially if the teammate is vital to the team like a Medic), as stunning Mimic while he's holding someone will force Mimic to drop the person without that person taking damage.

- When playing Springtrap, it's best to trap common places survivors flock towards like doorways. If you learn that a Survivor can sneak past that trap, either experiment, don't place a trap there next time, or use Scream to blind them and hope they fuck up. Also if you notice a Survivor puts themselves in a dead zone (Example, The Pizzeria's office) trap both exits, this will guarantee you a BUNCH of free damage because of this simple mistake.

Some Survivor ideas cause I'm a bit bored.

I doubt these are perfectly balanced, but here's some basic concepts of some Survivor Roles I thought of.

Party Planner: 100 HP, 12 Walk SP, 24 Run SP, 100 Stamina.

Physical Traits: A Party Hat + A Party Planner Notepad on their hip.

- Happy Birthday! 80 Second Cooldown.
Set up a small table with a cake with a max of four slices for Survivors to take, one slice per person!
What it does: After 5 seconds of setting up the small table thats highlighted to the team, survivors will be able to take one slice of cake to eat instantly (there are only 4 slices max & Party Planner cannot take a slice), giving them a Sugar Rush (basically Customer's soda ability but shared to the team, at first there's a 3 second delay before Sugar Rush kicks in). The Killer can destroy the small table with two m1 swings.

- Party Popper. 45 Second Cooldown.
It's time to party! Encourage others moral with a party popper to speed up their actions!
What it does: Party Planner will take out a party popper and pull it, causing a small "BANG" sound that will temporarily speed up a Survivors cooldown recovery by 2x for 10 seconds. Party Popper has a small AOE effect and can only affect 3 Survivors at once. This ability CANNOT stack and won't work on Party Planner.

Burglar: 80 HP, 12.5 Walk SP, 24 Run SP, 100 Stamina.

Physical Traits: Hacking Device & Lockpicking Tools (both rest on their hip)

- Sabotage. 35 Second Cooldown. (Max After-HP is 20, cannot gain After-HP from Medic's)
You stole this piece of junk, so you may use it to your advantage. Plant this device on the killer to short circuit them and gain shielding. Works better when unnoticed.
What it does: After a short wind up, you'll attach a Hacking Device onto the Killer that'll stun them & disable their abilities for 2-3 seconds after the stun wears off. When landing the stun unnoticed (when the Killers back if facing you), it'll stun the Killer for 4 seconds & you gain 10 After HP, otherwise you'll stun the Killer for 2 seconds if your noticed and only gain 5 After HP.

- Thieves Stealth. Lasts for 15 Seconds. 30 Second Cooldown.
You stole from a lot of places so you know your way around in the art of stealth.
What it does: You crouch down and move at a speed of 14.2 with your footsteps muted and opening or closing doors will not make any sound. Sabotage becomes a different ability during Thieves Stealth.

- Thieves Stealth: Brick.
You scoop up some stray rubble and throw it at your target.
What it does: With a short windup, you'll throw a brick (like Ennards minion throw ability) and if it hits the Killer, it will stun for 1 second and slow and confuse them for 3 seconds afterwards. Using this ability will take you out of Thieves Stealth early & will set Sabotage on a 15 second cooldown.
