Is anyone experiencing any bugs after the new software update? Mind does a weird thing where the first knob from the top small knobs moves small or medium increments (up or down) depending what thing I have opened on the main screen, whether it’s a plug-in or mixer. It doesn’t do it all the time but only acts up when I touch or mess with the knob.
Just a quick summary, yesterday I downloaded NFS Heat torrent and installed it on my SD Card. Everything installed correctly but when I opened the exe. with proton experimental through my Steam library, it starts up but doesn’t load and even gives me the option to stop running the game even when nothing opens up.
I installed a FGR game before on my SD card and runs properly (Diablo II Resurrected) so I don’t know what the problem could be. Is something wrong within the files of NFS or do I need to take extra measures to run this game in particular? I even switched the folder from SD card to Steam Deck hard drive and still get the same results.
I tried running the game with Lutris but I’m stuck at the “adding a wineprefix” step for running a local exe. file.
What is a wineprefix and is this the problem as to why the game won’t run properly? I read other posts online but still cannot understand what a wineprefix is or how it works. I’m sorry in advance for sounding ignorant I just follow steps, like changing properties to “proton experimental” and always works for my cases so I never look further into it.
I have the Ableton Push 3 stand-alone and come across bugs with a few projects where the graph on any EQ plugin disappears. I open and close project, turn off the Push and the graph just doesn’t appear. Even deleting and adding another EQ. And those bugs only tie to those specific projects, not all. Has anyone encountered this bug? Any solutions? Am I using too many plug-ins and that’s why I end up with this bug?
