What if the Political Parties have Genuine Platforms and not Sasakyan Ng Pamiliya or Ng mga Sikat?
In order for this to party, not only the antidynasty needs to be passed, but other bills to institutionalize programmatic parties.
The parties (name tentative)
## 1. Labor Party (Partido ng Manggagawa / Katipunan ng Demokratiko-Sosyal)
* The Cleavage: Capital vs. Labor (Class).
* The Role: This party fills the vacuum left by the "Red-tagging" cycle. By making a clean break from the armed struggle, they become the "German SPD" or "British Labour" of the Philippines.
* Policy Focus: Statutory tenure (anti-endo), universal basic services, and industrialization. They would be the primary rivals of the Makati Business Club's preferred candidates.
## 2. Liberal Party (Partido Liberal)
* The Cleavage: Rule of Law vs. Personalism.
* The Role: Stripped of the "Aquino/Yellow" dynastic branding, the LP returns to being the party of the illustrado tradition and the urban middle class. They are the guardians of the Constitution and market competition.
* Policy Focus: De-monopolization, civil liberties, and digitizing the bureaucracy to kill retail-level corruption.
## 3. Regionalist Federation Party (Bukluran ng Probinsya / Federalista)
* The Cleavage: Center vs. Periphery (Imperial Manila vs. The Rest).
* The Role: This is the most structurally disruptive party. It replaces the "Lakas-CMD" style patronage with actual constitutional demands. It’s the party for the "neglected" Mindanaoan, Cebuano, and Ilocano voters who want tax retention, not just Malacañang handouts.
* Policy Focus: 60/40 revenue sharing in favor of LGUs and a shift to a Parliamentary-Federal structure.
## 4. Catholic / Christian Democratic Party (Kristiyanong Demokratiko)
* The Cleavage: Secularism vs. Traditionalism.
* The Role: Currently, the Church exerts power through "endorsements" (which are hit-or-miss). In this world, they have a formal seat at the table. They represent the "Solid South" of moral conservatism that crosses class lines.
* Policy Focus: Protection of the family unit, opposition to divorce/abortion, but—crucially—a "preferential option for the poor" (Distributism). They would often vote with Labor on welfare but with the Right on social issues.
## 5. Sovereignist Party (Partido Makabansa)
* The Cleavage: Dependency vs. Autonomy (Foreign Policy).
* The Role: This is the "wildcard". It’s the home for the "Defense Hawks" and Economic Nationalists. They aren't necessarily pro-China or pro-US; they are "Pro-Philippines" to a fault.
* Policy Focus: Mandatory military service, self-reliant defense posture (SRDP), and strict protectionism for local agriculture and manufacturing.
