PW4 Is Disappointing (Switching)

Really disappointed by how it struggles with the most basic, day to day things after getting the GW8 Classic.

  1. It won't show my work calendar even though it's included in the Watch app. Yet my gw8 does it no problem, with no need for me to contact my work admin.

  2. Gemini is terrible, and I don't get how this is a selling point. It takes 4 seconds to activate and up to an additional 10 seconds to translate what I've said. By comparison the Gw8 is near instant. How is Samsung beating them at their own game?

  3. "Raise to talk" to Gemini is also terrible and works 30% of the time. Marketing really overhyped this.

  4. Spotify is awful on this thing. It takes forever to load and doesn't respond / sync with what my phone is playing. Again the gw8 does this without so much as a stutter.

  5. Workout auto detection is terrible and Fitbit feels like a strange 3rd party app, often giving unhelpful information at the wrong time. I know everyone raves about the sensors but from my experience that's pointless of the other two parts are lacking.

I want a watch that lets me quickly check things, but the pw4 is anything but "quick" by comparison to the competition. I really hope they improve the processor in the next generation. I'm willing to keep the gw8 even if it's not a perfect 1-1 match with the pixel due to it being wholly more reliable.

Has anyone else experienced any of this?
