Anyone able to get this site to work
I found this odd site a while ago, not even sure if it’s a game or what. I don’t remember exactly how I got there.
https://whereischloe-exe.github.io/where-is-chloe/
If it doesn’t load then yeah idk, it barely worked for me. Clicking doesn’t seem to do anything. I tried a few times, nothing happened, so I just closed it. Can anyone get it to work?
Since then I’ve kind of been noticing small things more. Probably unrelated, but the timing lined up enough that it stuck with me.
At work I checked the time — 10:14. Wrote an email, checked again, still 10:14. Thought I just typed faster than I expected or something. Checked a third time and it moved to 10:15, so whatever.
Same kind of thing with movement. People walking past, just a little further along than I expect. Not fast, just like I missed a part of it.
Elevator reflections too. Looked at the metal wall, doors opened, and one reflection stayed there for a split second after the person had already stepped out. Then it lined up again. Probably just the surface or something idk.
At home it’s small stuff. Put a glass near the edge of the table, came back later and it was closer to the middle. Didn’t think about it until after.
Phone buzzed once on the couch. No notification. That happens sometimes, whatever, but it still kind of sticks with you.
I guess the main thing I keep noticing is timing. Like the clock doesn’t freeze or anything — it just doesn’t move when I expect it to. I’ll check, wait what feels like long enough, check again and it’s still the same minute. It always catches up eventually though.
I’ve been kind of keeping an eye on things more since then. Not obsessively, just noticing. Little stuff. Positions mostly.
Saw a guy at a crossing yesterday. Hands in his pockets, just standing there. I was waiting for the light and watching people a bit. He didn’t move at all. No shifting, nothing. The light changed and people went around him and crossed.
He didn’t.
Another thing I keep noticing now is people’s hands. Like holding a cup or their phone without adjusting at all. No grip changes, nothing. You don’t really see it unless you keep looking.
I don’t think I used to notice that.
I’ve kind of gotten into the habit of checking things now without thinking about it. Just glancing a second longer. Making sure everything lines up. It sounds weird typing it out but it feels normal when I’m doing it.
Clocks have been the easiest to test.
I checked just now.
10:40
waited
10:40
waited longer
still 10:40
now it’s 10:41
I mean clocks do weird stuff sometimes. Phones lag. Seconds feel longer than they are. Is this just a me thing? Like I’m probably just not paying attention properly? I’ve been trying not to stare at things too much. Feels like I started doing that more after finding that page. When I don’t pay attention, everything feels normal. But when I do, it feels like I’m supposed to notice something. Like I missed it already. I don’t know. I feel like writing this might’ve been a mistake. Like I’ve just been focusing on this instead of everything else. Everything feels normal if I stop checking. So I’m just going to sto
