My phone has stopped charging through the port, it registers it as charging but the battery keeps dropping. It charges on a wireless docking station, the charging port is clean and has no damage. Is this a battery problem? I took it to an I phone shop and they said the battery needs replacing, but wouldn't I get a notification or some indication on my battery settings there was a problem? I also had the apple chat support run a diagnostic test, they said there is no battery issues. I know a few other people that had this issue after updating their phone but it resolved after resetting. Ive factory reset my phone as advised in the shop, but it hasn't resolved. Does anyone know how to help? Thank you
