Hi all, I got audited for this, and I’m still confused even after asking for clarification.

Documented in the A/P is “Dense breast tissue on mammogram. Birads 1.”

I reported R92313 - Mammographic fatty tissue density of breast

Auditors 1 and 2 argue that R9230 - Dense breasts, unspecified is the correct code.

Please help me understand!
