I received a rejection email saying I was not shortlisted because the program was competitive. Is it worth replying to ask for feedback, or should I just move on? What is the most professional way to respond?

That i was so confidant of acceptance but idk what i did wrong exactly, especially when this is not my first rejection for the year and i am getting demotivated in applying in new programs as you all know it takes effort to apply and its so overwhelming.
