So I Made A Post At Some Point This Weak And This Is Basically A Follow-Up Question

So I Made A Post The Other Day Asking What Fictional CGs Are, But Now I'm Here To Ask, What To DO With Them?? And, I'm Not Sure If I Asked Thise In the Last One But I'm Asking Again, How Do They Work? I'm Autistic And Struggling To Understand, So Far I've Been Told 'Use Imagination' But I Struggle With That Sometimes And Even Then IDK Where To Start

I made a collage of my fictional caregivers. Art isn't mine tho, I forgot who's who cuz it's all pictures across months of my photo library =(

I hear about people saying things like "art of me and [whatever parental title they use towards said character]" and other things like that, and I'm confused, mostly because 'caregiver' insinuates the person being cared for by the character. But what confuses me is, they aren't 'real'. Not saying it in a rude way don't get me wrong! But as much as I personally would love to see Price from CoD or Patton Sanders real and out of screen (and idk why its relevant but feels like it: I don't know if thats a "Man, I wish they were real and could comfort me' thing or not), I just don't get it. Is it a comfort thing? Do they build scenarios in their head? Use imagination? How do they pick a fictional cg? Is it choice or gut instinct? Can someone explain?

[Really sorry if this comes off rude or blunt, a combination of autism and being a little sleepy has made it a little hard to word things in a way that might not be rude]
