Im just in the first half but if anyone reads "Path of Ascension" this book feels like a copy of that but a little different and on a smaller scale now its not a bad book but let me point out the similarities

1. Love interest is a rich red head with phoenix relation.

2. Mc is magic world but has physical buffs also beam attack and talisman come on.

3. This one's kinda weak but greedy pet with a name that starts with a.

4. The Mcs personality training addicts with the ability to focuse on one task till completion.

This series isn't bad BUT.... is it just me or does it feel hollow like alot of the highlights are just references to better books the MC is kinda whiny and boring he's hard fights are like oh that was tough I was down 25% of my mana the relationship feels super forced and rushed the fact that no one named dies thats a good guy (at least so far im on book 6) I want bro to lose his mom at least since shes refused to adapt but no i like the sister and think her story is more interesting overall but there are no consequences for the MC he just wins not even like "oh I went to far and got soul/core damage" nothing thoughts is this just me?
