Can someone with more time on their hands than me arrange all these shitposts in chronological (from the movie) order? Is there a way to make an AI do this?

Yes, I know silver has industrial uses. But there was always an additional premium attached to the metal because it (like gold) could be used for money in ancient times.

Silver was useful for money because it was hard to counterfeit. You minted coins out of silver and the density and physical properties of the metal let people know that the coin was real.

The last two batches of ASEs I bought off of Ebay have been fake. Ebay made me whole, but that's not the point. The point is: If fakes are so easy and common, wheres the value?

How is silver a store of value if you have to use sophisticated tests and rely on trusted sources to avoid being scammed? The reason why the ancients made coins of silver (and not seashells) was to prevent this.

The industrial value will always be there. But the monetary value is looking shaky. If I had to sell a used car, I'd trust a Zelle of USA fiat currency more than a stack of (possibly fake) Morgans and ASEs.

Don't get me started on the preppers and SHTF scenarios. Are we really gonna lug our vials of acid and sigma testers across a post-nuclear wasteland so we can convince Tina Turner that our 1923 Peace Dollar is real?

If I'm subscribing to (for instance) software, they have to keep it updated and useful, or else I'm quitting. They can't just sell me crap and walk away, like a used car dealer would.

The enshittification is the price of the subscription. It's the fact that I'm paying more money over time that's bad.

I'd be willing to subscribe to a lot more things if the price was right and it enforced product quality over time.
