Hello Neighbor: The Raven's Decay, is a fanmade sequel of the original Hello Neighbor, basically replacing act 3 with an entire game! It is inspired by the concepts of the official sequel. These concepts include: The alpha's atmosphere, gameplay, and plotline (For those who haven't seen it, nikita said in a stream that the HN2 alphas were dreams in quentin's head). The game starts soon after Nicky returns to his childhood home, same as the actual act 3 of hn1. However, instead of waking up to see the monster of a house, he awakens in a sort of corrupted dream version of his hometown, the place's features and appearance a reflection of his own trauma and history with the town. This version of the town, design and layout wise, is reminiscent to the 2021 Showcase/Alpha 2 build of HN2

Like the official hn2 alphas, places will be included like the gray manor, the peterson house, museum, and locations either scrapped or shown/mentioned in other media like the books or show. There will also be the inclusion of the Golden Apple Park, and possibly the factory mentioned in the books NPCs in the game will be counterparts of their actual selves, like the hn2 neighbor being replaced with a model like the prototypes for 3, or with models of their scrapped designs, such as Gerda (Baker) having her more rounded design from her first concept.

As Nicky, you have to endure the challenges of your past, only in this case, Mr. Peterson isn't alone, and things are much, MUCH deeper than you remember...

I know this sounds ambitious as hell, but i really do want to re imagine a full, definitive HN2 experience

It's a work in progress concept but if anyone is interested, lemme know in the comments.

I like aethos mods, i still kinda do. But the concept has been used SO MANY TIMES throughout sml fan mods, and a lot of them include some of the same shit in an at least somewhat different way. Every mod seems to have a version of Aethos and/or Shucks. You can't find a single mod without a version of one or both. And each mod announced looks REALLY promising at times, so i then get excited for those mods cuz the music and gameplay looks really good. However, ever since aethos v2 was cancelled, most mods following after get cancelled, usually because of the SAME BS. Things like team toxicity, random drama/controversy, leaks, community jerks, etc. It's like this with SO MANY MODS and it isn't even JUST Aethos mods. There have been so many good mods to be announced, and they then get cancelled for one of these reasons.

Cancelled mods:

OG Aethos V2 Update(We ALL know why)

Sling revival 1/first revival (Come on, it's sling we're talking about)

Sling revival 2/V3 Oneshot (Again, Sling)

FNFWIKI/Early Irida (Sling Blackmailed Boing and Beta)

Resurgence (All three og revivals)

Funkslogan(At least 4 of them idk how many versions were worked on)

Yuphoric Revival (Early Agus reboot Idk)

Averageteen Revival/400$ Aethos

JLK/Jeffy Logan Killer

Aethos Part 2 (Legacy Komsmatik Revival)

VS Jeffy V3 (Carrmay lost motivation. A few aethos songs were planned for it including Shucks)

Eternal Tartarus (Not familiar with it, but i've heard a bit about it)

Irida (the full mod not the demo)

Irida Legacy Edition (Official leaked revival of irida that STILL got cancelled)

The only good mods i've been into recently are an FNFWIKI fanbuild, Aethos Koms revival, OG V2 remake, Oneshot fanbuild and ELP (I don't support sling, it's just the only really good feeling revival that is a refresh and not a clone) Literally the only interesting mods to me right now only makeup 26 percent of official mod material. I mean there's mods coming out like the Agus reboot and Aetheon forever but those don't feel like the material they're refreshing the songs don't say "This is aethos" to me.

And i'll be honest atp i might as well just stop investing in "evil jeffy" mods and move to a new fandom. What do y'all think? Let me know
