What are the odds I *don't* need a new canister?

My 2019 Kona Limited 1.6t AWD with 130k-ish miles has begun to be difficult to fill with fuel. The pump shuts off early and I have fuel backing up the filler pipe. There's obviously a blockage in the tank venting, I'm not giving up on the idea that the vent tube may be plugged, but I also realize it's probably a canister issue. For those who have Hyundai/evap-emissions experience what's the over/under on me needing a new canister?

I'll probably be tearing into it this week as my tank is pretty low and the weather is looking decent. Will try pulling the tubes and vent valve and checking for blockages, as well as checking flow through the canister. Parts will be ordered based on findings.
