Trying to DIY replace the cartridge because I dont have the 2800 quoted for it. (Got a leaky faucet)

Im trying to remove the grooved cap but not having much luck. I bought a big wrench and it seems to twist slightly when I put a lot of power into it but it's not getting any looser, and it seems like its starting to bend directionally and I dont want to break anything important.

We've tried lime away, pb blaster, vinegar, and heating it

Its an old delta. Any tips or advice?
