Business Class on Indirect flights
I am looking at booking a trip from London to Vietnam late in the year which would have a stop over in Doha. I have never flown business before and after flying 14 hours to Japan in economy last year, would like to see if it makes longer flights more enjoyable.
Due to cost, I am only considering picking business for either the outbound or inbound flights. Currently on their website this would be £1600. My question is if I wait to be offered upgrades closer to my flight date, I have read that they only apply to individual flights. Would I have to upgrade 2 flights to cover both my London and Doha flights for example and is this likely to be more expensive than the £1600 is currently costs on the website which I know would cover both?
Suggestions on if the upgrade is worth it on the outbound or inbound return legs also welcome.
