I lost both phone number and password to my Tiktok after an 8 month offload due to low storage. On reinstalling the app I got a ‘Welcome Back’ login page which I can’t get past. It shows the old number displayed in full. On the ‘Recover Account’ ticket I disclosed specifics of the phone, my location, date I downloaded app, and screenshots of the welcome screen as well as some Tiktok vids I posted in the past. Why is Tiktok asking me to do the impossible – to request a phone company to hand over a 2 year old expired number? I mean the likelihood of that is zero. Google AI said probable outcomes are that they would send an OTP submitted on the Recover Account form. Am I going about this wrong and there’s another avenue I should try?

Read a few comments here but none are very clear about this. Everyone who eventually won their appeals – have you ever had this message at any stage whether first, second or third time etc but you carried on trying? Or do people who win never get any message at all until accounts are restored? I'm now on my fourth appeal and every single time had this automated message as soon as pressing submit...
