I have been a musician for decades, but recently pivoted into film scoring, and am studying orchestration right now.

As a result, I want to use notation more to compose instead of directly into the DAW.

Does anyone have any advice or tips when exporting from notation into the DAW? Ideally I just want the pitch and rhythm MIDI information per instrument/part and not much else. When exporting to MIDI, it comes with a wealth of unwanted information (like automation on the wrong CCs for my libraries), and creates new tracks that mess with my template.

I am using Musescore 4 and Logic Pro 11. Any advice appreciated!
