So, moving to NYC this summer for a job and found this $300/month private room on the Upper West Side. (I know it already sounds too good to be true)
However the arrangement is a companion/helper setup which seemed reasonable to me. However, I ran the profile photo through TinEye and it matched an image from an unrelated site dated 2017 which as if $ wasn't suspicious enough already- this is a red flag. Could be nothing too but $300 in Manhattan felt worth double-checking...
Anyone recognize this listing or know if this is a common format? IS this a common scam? I am a college student so I am open to any leads on rooms under $900 for a summer/fall stay, flexible though.
