Cause and fix ? Heavy diet soda drinker
My teeth have prettybad erosion in my opinion. My diet history has been pretty heavy diet Mountain Dew drinking for the last 15 + years. The last 10 years was pretty heavy I’m guessing 60-80 oz per day maybe average. The last 5 years I’ve been on a ketogenic diet so I relied on citric acid electrolyte powders which I’ve now stopped as I didn’t realize those were as acidic as diet soda. So I quite literally was sipping acidic drinks all day long. I guess I’m just wondering if the cause is from the drinks or not and what route I should go to restore back to white teeth. They are fairly translucent so whitening doesn’t do much but cause sensitivity. I did have an underbite growing up which was barely fixed in time; the top teeth are tipped out and the bottom when I tap do tap the top on the back side. Those 2 front teeth which you can’t tell in the pictures very well have pretty significant enamel loss up closer to the gumline, I can catch quite the lip with my finger nail. There’s a few other teeth with those going on at the gumline as well I marked on the images. Dentists have told me combination of acid erosion and abfractions .i have an apt with my orthodontist to Maybe try and get those bottom teeth off those top a little bit. 35 yo male! Not sure if I should go with a set of crowns, no prep veneers, regular veneers, or rebuild with binding. Obviously I’m concerned about further damage a where the yellow is that’s I think dentin showing .
