A few days ago I made a post about my shrimp dying, today I was feeding algae wafers and my cobalt goby was aggressively guarding it from the CPDs and Khulis (who didn't care). I went to work for a couple hours and when I was back, boom, another dead shrimp in the exact spot where the wafer was sitting. I'm beginning to think it might be her.. I've already caught and bagged her, but the LFS doesn't open until tomorrow morning so I just have the bag in the tank w the top untied so I can occasionally use a dropper to bubble the water surface (for oxygen).
She's shown aggressive behaviour towards the fish but never the shrimp though, but the fact that one second theres no dead shrimp but then suddenly a dead one shows up exactly where the wafer was sitting feels a little coincidental.
PS, I'm now saving up for a RO system and TDS reader like a few people suggested. I'm not entirely sure if my GH and KH are the causes since I had shrimp breed twice in higher levels than the tank is at now, but I'll pursue those options either way!
