I tried to read online, and it seems like the two "jandy" valves in the front are supposed to control the intake and output.
And then like some combo is for pool mode, spa mode, waterfall mode and then "drain the hot tub mode"
Then the pool heater which is the only new part, has a pool heating mode and spa heating mode I think. But It doesn't make total sense to me that the heater alone would know which to heat (pool or spa) without turning some valves.
Then the pump has "Speed 1" "speed 2" "speed 3" and speed"4" I asked our weekly pool guy (who we inherited with the house) which was the fastest and he said speed 1, but it seems clear when I mess with it that speed 4 is the fastest (the pump seems to need to be going a certain speed for the heater to work).
I feel like I am getting mixed information and dont want to damage or break something.
We also have a little bottom cleaner robot that often seems to not be moving or doing anything.
Can anyone give me a clear definitive guide to Heating just the hot tub, Heating just the pool, waterfall mode. etc
