N Ireland is an obvious exception but across Britain we need the Greens, Lib Dems and Labour to agree to field a single candidate amongst them to allow tactical voting. ideally SNP and Plaid Cymru to join in too but I suspect a Reform victory will aid their separatlist cause so they will either refuse or demand unacceptable price such as lots more money or a referendum. I also suspect a problem is eg Greens demanding to run where they were second to Labour instead of Labour. The Far Right is at the gates but I don’t trust the progressive parties to do the right thing. this is an emergency !
