I made a lightweight race engineer app, anyone want to try it?
Hi everyone,
I’ve been playing LMU for ~two years and wanted something closer to a real race engineer, not just another telemetry dashboard.
So I’ve been building a small app that analyses the session and turns it into useful race/strategy info, on-screen messages, and voice calls.
For example, it can help with things like:
- identify the right moment to attack the car ahead
- warn you when the car behind is becoming a real threat
- show whether you are gaining, losing, or matching the pace around you, and in which sector
- give useful race and qualifying context without needing to constantly check the timing screen
It’s still an early version, would anyone be interested in trying it and letting me know what works, what doesn’t, and what kind of messages would actually be useful during a race?
I can share the download link if anyone wants to try it.
