Scorp mini 3 pro weak motors all of a sudden
I’m having some issues with my unit. I’ve had it less than a year and have had no issues with it. I usually mount Sony a7s3 with tamron 17-28mm (no filter). The gimbal has worked flawlessly for about 25 weddings using it sparingly throughout the day….even as recently as April 25th.
This past weekend I had 2 weddings back to back. Saturday I mounted a tamron 28-75 (which I’d done before a few times with no issue) and started experiencing vibrations and an audible humming from the motors especially when tilting the unit. I thought maybe the gimbal couldn’t handle the weight (even though I used this camera lens combination a couple times in September on October). It kept notifying me to auto tune the motors. The problem persisted. So I left it alone.
The next day, I went to mount my usual combo A7S3 with Tamron 17-28 and again experienced the same vibrations and humming. A week ago this thing was fine….now cannot hold a relatively small set up.
Not sure how to fix or address this issue… any ideas?
