Semi-bricked CR-10 SE

So I've got a bit of a problem with my CR-10 SE. When booting, I get the logo, the little animation, then it forever stays on "Machine start-up in progress." I think something got borked after a power outage.

I can ping the device, but I can't ssh into it. I've tried re-flashing firmware, but no joy when plugging in a USB key with the latest firmware.

I've poked around a little with the internal micro-USB connection- the computer sees the "usb cloner device" after loading drivers, but the Ingenic Cloner page doesn't recognize it. The legacy programs see it, but I don't have the .ingenic file to flash.

I still have hope since the Nebula board boots and can be reached on the network, but I'm kind of stuck as to how to recover the firmware.

Creality Support is kind of stuck in a "you need to update the firmware" loop, even though I've told them the situation.

Any firmware-flashing gurus out there willing to offer some advice?

I keep music locally on my phone, and just connect to the Bluetooth in my car to play it. Problem is that my audio app would rarely start playing properly when I got back in the car after more than a few minutes. As a result, I would either have to pull out my phone and start the player, start playing from the wrong player (AntennaPod or even my Kindle app!) or (more commonly) not have music as I had already started driving before I realized the player hadn't connected again.

I came across BeatBridge on F-Droid the other day, and it solves this very particular problem. You can define specific apps to start playing when the phone is connected to specified BlueTooth. So far, it's been working a treat, auto-playing my music when I start up my car, like it should have all along.

Nothing revolutionary, but it solved a really annoying problem for me, and that makes me happy.
