Hello everyone, hope you all are doing well.

I’m in a bit of a dilemma and would genuinely appreciate some advice from experienced owners and enthusiasts here.

I’m planning to buy my second car because my current car is nearing the end of its life in Delhi. Tomorrow is the final day for me to decide whether I should go ahead with this deal or walk away from it. The problem is that I’m honestly a complete beginner when it comes to detailed car inspection and understanding hidden issues in used cars.

I got the vehicle from SPINNY and inspected through SPINNY only, and according to their inspection report, the car is in pretty good condition overall. I also personally drove it, and the car feels smooth, comfortable, and well-maintained. Still, since this is a major purchase for me, I’m quite nervous and don’t want to make a costly mistake.

Here are the details of the car:

  1. Toyota Innova Crysta ZX
  2. Manufactured in late 2022, registered in January 2023
  3. Petrol Automatic
  4. Driven around 67,500 km
  5. Complete Toyota dealership service records available up to 63,000 km
  6. The car looks clean and drives very nicely
  7. Asking price: ₹17 lakh

I would sincerely appreciate any guidance from you all.

Please tell me:
- Whether this sounds like a fair deal or not
- What major things I should specifically check before finalising
- Common red flags in Innova Crysta petrol automatics
- Whether 67k km is considered too much for this car
- Any hidden maintenance or future ownership costs I should prepare for
- Anything related to suspension, gearbox, engine health, accidental history, odometer tampering, flood damage, etc.
- Whether I should still get an independent mechanic/PDI done even after the Spinny inspection

Please help a mate out. Any suggestions, opinions, warnings, ownership experiences, or advice would genuinely help me immensely before I make the final decision tomorrow.

Thank you in advance.
