My sweet boy died in my arms yesterday… I am not okay.

My 6 year old, seemingly healthy, fluffiest of kitties, Kitten died in my arms yesterday. The vet said it was a cardiac event. He let out a cry, then fell to the floor. I picked him up, and we raced out of the house but he passed in my arms on the way to the vet.

I am lost. I keep replaying it. I know I should get counselling. I have a son and family, and another sweet kitty that needs me but holy hell is this hard.

Sending all my love to any other pet parents who have experienced this pain.
