I’m looking for data around the city and how we were (and are) impacted by out-of-state or short-term residents taking advantage of our city’s (formerly) low cost of living. I’m curious if this issue is still as bad as it was in about 2021, or if we’ve started to feel an ease.
I’ve rented the same house since 2019, and am exploring other options. One thing I’ve noticed is every damn listing seems to be under a property management company now, whereas before it was fairly common to rent directly from a landlord. I’m also looking for more information on neighborhoods that are currently being gentrified (ex: I see this potentially happening around Grant and Alvernon).
