So I first purchased D2R:Infernal edition on steam when it launched there and linked my main bnet account to it.
D2R:Infernal Edition is now on sale on Bnet and I was thinking of buying a 2nd account on Bnet to have 2 accounts to do socket rush quests for myself and just having another window open for trades while I can farm on my main instead of just sitting in a game.
I know if I purchase it on bnet on my main account it will not count as an additional copy of the game, but will it work if I unlink it from steam and connect my current steam account to a new bnet account?
So basically, main account now runs off bnet. Link current steam copy to a new bnet account and have a fresh d2r account on steam.
Reason for this instead of just buying D2R on a fresh bnet account is because I want to keep my friend list on my main account which I will be playing more often.
