Hello fellow Fence Builders,

I've been following your posts for a while. I'm German and I understand that building practices around the globe vary for many reasons. I observed that usually fence posts in this sub are set directly in concrete foundations, while we typically use H-Style Anchors.

I'd like to understand why they're not used in your region, mainly in the US? Are your posts treated differently than ours? Is it because of different climate/humidity? Is it a question of costs?

Not here to shit on practices that work well. Just trying to understand!
