Please help me and my leaky window! Melb
Hi guys! I live in a 3 story townhouse in Melb with a window that’s quite fond of leaking! When we moved in the old frame was rotting away in the corner and the building inspector chalked it up to “condensation”. We get the window removed, replaced the old frame and got a caulker to seal the window.
Now it’s leaking again, we had someone look at the roof and they said no signs of damage. They said it’s condensation then ghosted me!
I dont think it’s condensation because why would it only happen in one corner? Anyway we got a dehumidifier and it did nothing! It also only leaks when it rains from certain angles???
Does anyone know how to fix my window before I go insane? Does it need re glazing? More caulk somehow? To just be replaced? I’ve circled the corner that gets really wet when it does leak in one of the photos.
