how to stop being tense

hey all!

so i've developed tinnitus in 2020 and I've basically completely habituated to it, but one noticeable habit I've had is my body tenses up especially with my shoulders. im thinking it may be a counter reaction to block out the ringing while im focusing on a task like studying or reading, but i know its something i didnt deal with in my pretinnitus era. so im wondering if anyone has any techniques or tips to just relax my body because i cant seem to be in a sustained state of non-tenseness
