▲ 2 r/ostomy
Hello I've had loop illeostomy, which I made the decision to keep permanently that was 10 years ago. Reason being this is my 3rd illeostomy and going into hospital for months at a time was causing too much debt, plus when I had previous ones reversed had a new one a year later so it made sense to keep this one
I've recently learnt that these are intended to be temporary, are there any potential complications that could occur by leaving it in?
