Story time

Less than a year and a half ago I bought a pixel 8 in Spain, and it now has a vertical line in the screen.

Google acknowledges the problem. But since I'm in the us now, they won't change my screen because "the program is structured like that".

I have been to one Google store and talked with them via email, but they keep repeating the same thing. I should go back to Spain to get it fixed.

I don't live there nor will I go in the near future.

They sold me a defective phone, they know it and they are refusing to fix it on a technicality.

It's a shame, I really like the brand, but I expect my phone's to last more than 15 months. I don't think I can keep buying their products if their support is so bad
