Are there other birds capable of flying backwards? I know it’s commonly said that only humming birds can, but the Carolina Chickadees I have been watching appear to be able to as well. Any expert able to explain more? I wish I had it on video but they stopped showing off when I got my phone out. Picture for reference of alleged backwards flyer.
