Am I dumb for considering this as my first boat?

Am I dumb for considering this as my first boat?

Boat in Question: Restored 1956 Criss-Craft Capitan

The main reason this boat would be a fit for me is:

  • I work remotely 100% and want a boat that I can just chill and work on for half the day while it's at the marina even, so the large cabin works well for me
  • Still has some relaxed outside space if I have some people on it
  • Sturdy enough for some overnight trips on the New England sea coast
  • Looks classic, has a lot of character
  • Fits well in my price range, newer boats in the same category are 2-3x the cost.

Reasons this might be really dumb:

  • It doesn't have a bow thruster, so operating it by myself would be really difficult if not impossible
  • It's a really old boat, even though it's been restored I might be in for a world of trouble if anything goes wrong on it
  • I live on the sea coast and salt water might be devastating for keeping an old boat maintained and looking well

Other than this listing I've narrowed down my search to RangerTugs because they have the inside cabin that I'm looking for but I'm not impressed by their outside space. I've also heard they're not super reliable. But there's plenty of 25' and 27' around me that I could pick up if I wanted to, although it would be mid 200k.
