i’m debating whether a smart ring would be better than a fitness watch since i prefer something more minimal and less distracting during workouts. i mainly care about steps, sleep, and general activity tracking, nothing too advanced or complicated.

my previous watch felt too noticeable during exercise and everyday wear so i eventually stopped using it consistently. i’m trying to build better habits now as a beginner in fitness and want something i’ll actually stick with this time. for those who switched to a smart ring, did it really make it easier to stay consistent, or do you still feel like a watch works better overall?
