Earlier this year, I made a post about how my great grandmother was of Manchu descent but I never got any Manchu results in 23andme. I recently decided to email 23andme's support. To me, it seems like 23andme struggles to distinguish between Northern Han and Manchu. I do have a distant genetic grouping to the Hai and Liao River Basins though. Unrelated, but the description says that people in this genetic group report speaking Nepali. I find that very interesting!
