Zapovjednik flote Jugoslavenske ratne mornarice (JRM) u vojno-pomorskoj bazi Lora, Split (1986.–1988.)

I wanted to ask the views of the Croats on JNA Vice Admiral Dragoljub Bocinov of Macedonia. He spent the vast majority of his naval career in Croatia.

Commander of the Military and Naval sector Shibenik (1981-1983)

Assistant Commander for rear support to the military and naval area Split (1983-1986)

Fleet Commander of the Yugoslav Navy (JRM) in the military naval base Lora, Split (1986-1988)

Chief of the Center for Senior Navy Military Schools in the military naval base Lora, Split (1988-1991)

In 1991 he was given an order by his superiors in Belgrade to bomb and attack Split and several other cities in Croatia. He rejected the order stating that he was a "humanist" and that the JNA was no longer the army of Tito and his Yugoslavia. He was arrested and spent 18 months in prison, before being released in an agreement with the newly independent Macedonia.

I've read that a lot of Croats (especially those in Dalmatia) respect him for his service in the region, but also his efforts to prevent naval attacks in Croatia.

I'm not from the Balkans, but let's see what you all say. What are some random amendments to your nation's constitution?

As an American, I'm not a fan of the USAs Second Amendment. Not that I don't support it, but because no one seems to understand it.

On the Balkan side. My favorite is probably Paragraph 2 of Article 141 of the Croatian Constitution:

"Article 141

It is prohibited to initiate any procedure for the association of the Republic of Croatia in alliances with other states if such association leads, or might lead, to a renewal of a Yugoslav state community or to any Balkan state alliance of any kind."
